DRAMA GROUP PREPARING FOR MARCH STAGE PRODUCTION
The cast and producer of 'Don't Tell The Wife' a play by Sam Cree that will be performed by Wicklow Drama Group in The Grand Hotel, Wicklow Town, on March 25/26/27.
WICKLOW DRAMA Group are busy rehearsing for this season's production which will be staged later in March. 'Don't Tell the Wife' was written by Sam Cree and is set in Belfast in the 1960s in the Willis household, where the belief of Mrs. Willis that her plumber husband is chasing after other women leads to misunderstandings.
The cast consists of Isobel Tate as Shirlie Delaney; Edna Willis is played by Marion Murphy; Bobby Willis by Ted Higgins; Cyril Lindsay by Connor Murphy; Georgette Moreau by Anne Marie O Reagan; Eric Tweedy by Mike Sullen; Basil Carrington by Shay Brennan and Hilda Smiley by Tracey Murphy.
The play will be produced and directed by Anthony Doyle, stage managed by Carmini Coppola with the lighting and sound handled by Ken Doyle. The production takes place in the Grand Hotel on Thursday March 25, Friday March 26 and Saturday March 28 at 8 p.m. nightly.
