WICKLOW-BASED band Bocs Social have launched their latest EP to plenty of fanfare. The band have gone from strength to strength after geting rave reviews and airplay for their debut EP 'The Marmalade Sessions' last March.

Having won the infamous King Kong Club in 2009 they went on to play gigs in The Knockanstockan Festival, two gigs at the Dublin Fringe Festival, the Dublin Arts Festival, Phantom FMs Next Big Thing and IMRO's showcase The Once a Month Club. They also have a Saturday night residency in Pravda, Dublin.

Friday saw the launch of their latest EP in a packed Silvers Nightclub with fans eager to purchase their newest release. The EP was available on the night as Owen Deehan took over the Djing duties.

Bocs Social play a unique blend of ska/pop that has garnered praise from Hotpress, IMRO's Angela Dorgan and Phantom FM. They were recently named Red Track Music Reviews artist/recommendation of the week.
