HARVEST SERVICE The Conary Harvest Thanksgiving Service will be held on the 5th of September at 7.30pm in Saint Bartholomew's Church, Conary. The Preacher will be Revd. Ivor Owens, Methodist Minister for Avoca. All are welcome AVOCA IT CENTRE Avoca IT Centre is now taking new enrolments for Children's and Adult's day classes in Beginners and ECDL computer courses starting in September.

A beginners evening class will commence on Wednesday 1st September from 7pm to 9pm, anyone innterested should contact Dorothy Rowan on 086 0826722 50/50 DRAW

We will be holding our Autumn Tea Dance on Sunday 29th August from 3pm till 6pm music will be by Rio and entrance fee is €5. So get those toes tapping, and see you there.

French for beginners will be returning on Friday 3rd September at 1pm. All are welcome COMMUNITY HALL

There are a number of time slots at the Avoca Community Hall. Anyone interested in running a class must have insurance. Please contact the hall on 040230549 to check availability.

The annual general meeting of the Avoca community hall will take place on Monday 13th of September at 8pm in the community hall, Avoca. Everyone is invited to attend, new members welcome. Please come along SCHOOL OF DANCE

Dance classes with the Francis Ryan School of Dance (formerly Lindsay Howard Academy) are reopening in Avoca community hall on Saturday 18th September.

A meet'n'greet/registration day will be held in the hall on Saturday 11th September from 11am to 1pm. All are welcome, so please come along on the morning to meet us, and ask questions, with no obligations KILMAGIG GRAVEYARD

Kilmagig Graveyard committee wish to thank everyone who attended the prayers in the graveyard, and especially those who help so much with the upkeep of the graveyard, especially Wicklow rural partnership, Henry Alexander, Mary Morris, Cyril Hobson, Peter Moore, Fr. Eamon Crossan and Astron Engineering Ltd. Thank You. TABLE QUIZ

The table quiz that took place on Friday 20th August in Fitzgeralds raised a total of €1,200. The money will be used to provide medical assistance in Moldova.

Sincere thanks to Andy and Marie Merrigan who once again organised the quiz, also Johnny Moules who very kindly sponsored the trophies, to those who donated prizes for the raffle, to Evelyn and Ailish who helped to make the night a sucess and to all those who supported the fundraiser in any way, your generosity is much appreciated and will do much to enhance the quality of life for a young Moldovan in need of surgery.
