Dance-off brings teens' best moves

THERE WAS a great night of fun and dancing in Aras Lorcain last Friday night for the Dance Off teenage disco. The night which was organised by Arklow What About Youth (AWAY) saw teenagers from Arklow and the surrounding areas enjoy a great night out.
One of the organisers, Emer Kinsella, said AWAY was set up to give teenagers an alternative to drugs. She said the night was a great success.
'It went very well. We charged just €2 admission and the cost to teenagers is very low.
'The DJ on the night was DJ Steve from Cube nightclub and the event was open to all secondary school students.
'It was one of a series of events we have held and in the past we had a band night and a graffiti night which were both very successful.'
