LECTURE
Wednesday March 10 2010
The Kilmacanogue History Society hosted a very successful lecture last week. Kevin Moriarty, head of Ardmore Studios gave a very entertaining account of the history of the studios over the last 50 years and of some of the stars who filmed there. There were also slides and photographs from previous years and these were also appreciated by the audience.
Members are asked to note that the society will hold its April meeting back in the Glencormac Inn on Tuesday April 6, when the lecture will be given by James O'Brien on"A journey through Wicklow through old postcards" and this will take place at 8.30 p.m. All are welcome.
