ONLY 2 teams in action last weekend. The U8s game v Arklow was called off while the Glens U10 had a very impressive win at home to Ashford with a 6-3 victory. Goals from Conor Gallagher (2), Cian Duffy, Glen Bradshaw and Jack Brown (2). Ashford tried hard and were unlucky not to score more goals but Glencormac deserved the win even with many chances missed also. Man of the match was Jack Brown and lady of the match was Rachel Griffin. A special thanks to Larry Merriman for helping out as referee on the day. The U11s were away to Shamrock Bhoys in what proved to be a tough game. The Glens created a few chances and both Dean Redden and Sean Clarke hit the net. Craig Conroy was also in top form making some great tackles. The Bhoys won 8-2 in the end but the young glens to their credit never gave up. All at the club would like to wish Patrick "Ashley Cole" Harvey a warm congratulations on his 21st Birthday this week.
