THE DOMINICAN COLLEGE in Wicklow town was just one of the schools involved in a pioneering new programme designed to help students progress from the classroom to the boardroom.

The BT organised Business of Science and Technology programme is a collaboration giving future leaders the business skills and knowledge to help them turn good ideas into potential commercial opportunities.

53 students from 13 countries were invited to take part in the programme as they were winners of intermediate and senior categories, the overall top four performers and the winners of merit from the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition 2010.
