Surge in house tax protests
MEETINGS campaigning against the household and water taxes are to be held across County Wicklow. Organisers have already held meetings in Little Bray, Kilcoole, Aughrim, Ballywaltrim, and Arklow. The next meeting will take place on Thursday, February 2 at 8 p.m. in the Kilpeddar Inn, followed by Saturday February 4 at 2 p.m. at Fitzpatrick's Pub in Rathnew. There will be a meeting on Wednesday February 8 at 7.30 p.m. in the Nazarene Church, Burnaby Lawns, Greystones, and on Thursday February 16, at 8 p.m. in the Community Hall, Avoca.
