THE hopes of Wicklow lie on the tiny shoulders of four Scoil na Coróine Mhuire pupils.
John Gleeson, Amber Bolger, Pierce Redmond and Jordan Sweetman Burke have already proved their collective brain power having won the Wicklow District Credit Union Junior School quiz after seeing off the challenge of other schools from all over the county.
They now move on to the Leinster Finals taking place soon in Loughlinstown.
It was almost a double win for the Ashford school as their sixth class representatives â?“ Rian Sweetman Burke, Aaron Magher, Glenna Swinand and Josh Duffy â?“ just missed out on winning their section, finishing a close runnerup.
