Exciting events to mark unique month
POSITIVE AGEING WEEK IN ARKLOW

A MONTH of exciting events will commence in Arklow on Monday, September 13 as part of Positive Ageing Week 2010.
Positive Ageing Week takes place in 15 towns across the country from September 24 to October 2 during which the positive aspects of growing older are highlighted.
On October 1 PAW marks the UN International Day of Older Persons which coincides with the biggest national event to date.
Age Action Ireland together with an army of willing volunteers aim to make Ireland a great place to grow old and where the talents that older people in society are celebrated.
A wide array of events will take place over a four-week period from September 13 from craft workshops to singing and dancing sessions.To book a place on organised transport (Limited Places) or to book tickets for dances ring 086 081 7534.
