Figures show retail vacancies in Wicklow less than ten per cent

RETAIL vacancy levels in Wicklow are less than ten per cent according to the latest figures.
During a survey of global information Experian found that Wicklow, Cavan, Leitrim and Monaghan had retail vacancy rates of less than 10 per cent.
Offaly has the highest vacancy rate at 27.1 per cent and this is expected to rise to 28.6 per cent. Longford and Mayo also have vacancy rates of more than 20 per cent.
It forecasts that vacancy levels will rise from 12.1 per cent to 12.8 per cent in Dublin; 16.4 per cent to 17.3 per cent in Cork; 11.5 per cent to 12.1 per cent in Galway; 15.6 per cent to 16.5 per cent in Limerick; and 15.8 per cent to 16.7 per cent in Waterford. Vacancy levels in Northern Ireland are expected to rise from 13.5 per cent to 14.1 per cent.
