Gardening course begins
The Baltinglass Adult Learning Centre will run a six-week introduction course on The Joys of Gardening' starting on Wednesday April 16 and finishing on May 21. The course takes place in the Baltinglass Adult Learning Centre at the rear of Scoil Chonglais from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The course takes place in the Baltinglass Adult Learning Centre at the rear of Scoil Chonglais from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
An experienced horticulturalist will run the course and will cover topics such as Planning a Garden; Improving Soil and Feeding Plants; Roses and Their Care, Alpine Plants and Creating a Rockery, Shrubs and Herbaceous Plants, Low Maintenance Gardening, Plant Propagation and Seed Sowing and Container Gardening.
