BRAY MTV STAR Laura Whitmore, who was back on Irish shores recently to launch the Sony Ericsson T707 for 3 mobile, has been warned by another former MTV star to make the most of her time in the spotlight.
Former MTV girl Emma Ledden thinks that Laura, who has enjoyed huge success since winning a competition to present a programme, should make contacts for the future now.
Emma was the first Irish presenter on MTV and made her start there in 1999.
'I don't think she needs my advice but I would say to her to enjoy every second and make the most of every contact,' said the presenter.
'If there is a programme or a channel she would like to work with in the future, I would say make those contacts now while you're flavour of the month. It's brilliant they have an Irish presenter again. I haven't met Laura but she sounds like she has her head well screwed on and she's absolutely gorgeous and so natural.'
Loreto past pupil Laura won Pic Me MTV in 2008 – the search to find a new presenter to co-host MTV news bulletins and halfhour show MTV News The Cube with presenter Rickie Haywood Williams.
She had previously worked as a researcher on Newstalk's 'Lunchtime with Eamon Keane'.
