IN HIS fourth year in Wicklow Mick O'Dwyer continues to rake in new fans. Two weeks ago it was the Newtown club and their young players that flocked in great numbers when he took his panel of players to train in their grounds

Last week he was over in the West and Hollywood was the venue, but the end result was the same. Nothing organized but the Juveniles turned up just the same.

The training session over everyone headed upstairs in the new clubhouse for refreshments.. The kids had picked a vantage point in the hallway as players and mentors rushed passed. Last in was Micko and he immediately turned his attention to the youngsters. Time, it appeared, meant nothing to the man as he talked to each one individually, answered questions and signed autographs.

Club mentors were highly impressed by the session and the Chairman Pat Dunne rang the Wicklow People the next day to express their thanks to the great Kerrman for the time and effort he put in to the session.
