Golf classic raises a grand total of €5,500 for lifeboat
Cllr. Tommy Annesley, Arklow Golf Club Captain Chris McCarthy, Jimmy Tyrell and Eddie Howlin at the presentation of €5,500 which was raised at the 40th annual Golf Classic in aid of Arklow Lifeboat.

ARKLOW LIFEBOAT accepted a generous donation of €5,500 following the hugely successful Golf Classic at Arklow Golf Club.
Now in its 40th year the event drew a large number of teams and a wonderful day out on the fairways was enjoyed before an evening presentation event in the Clubhouse.
Golf Club and Lifeboat representatives Cllr. Annesley, Club Captain Chris McCarthy, Jimmy Tyrell and Eddie Howlin gathered at the Lifeboat at the weekend to make the presentation.
