Results: 19th January - 9 hole strokes and 18 hole stableford. 9 Hole Strokes - 1st: Phyllis O'rourke h/c 19, 36.5 net. 18 Hole Stableford - Class 1 = + - 22 - 1st: Breda Bermingham Roberts h/c 22, 33pts on back 6; 2nd Sandra Warde h/c 18, 33pts. Class 2 = 23+ - 1st: Elaine Tracy h/c 23, 30pts; 2nd Eleanor Hunt h/c 25, 28pts.

Captains Drive In 21 January - Our Captains Brendan Doogue and Genevieve Doyle held their drive in on Saturday last on another lovely January day. Lady Captain Gen drove Club Captain Brendan up the driveway in a restored 1974 Mark 1 Escort, kindly supplied by club member Billy Byrne.
As champagne bottles popped the Captains were wished well for their year in the office. They got a great cheer as they both smashed their golf balls up the 1st fairway.
There was a huge gallery of family, friends and members. 90 people played, the course was in great condition and was a credit to the green keeping staff and volunteers.
There was also a great turnout afterwards in the clubhouse for the presentation of prizes where everyone was treated to fine food. We pass on our compliments to the Caterers, Bia Blasta.
Drive in Results: 14 h scramble - Winners Padraig Kavanagh, Tony Delaney, Louie Fagan, Ned O'keeffe 40; 2nd Jason Bowes, Mary Deegan, Derek Byrne, John Kelly 41.8; 3rd Brian Brennan, Joe Plant, Marie Byrne, Paula Cadden 42.1.
Sunday 22 Jan 4 Person Team Event - Winners: Ned Cremin, Stephen Mason, John Fleming, Jim Higgins 80pts.
Ladies Results - 1st Margo Doyle 31pts; 2nd Linda Kennedy 27pts; 3rd Mary Gorry 27pts. Saturday 28, Sunday 29 January 4 Person Team Event Draw for teams and shotgun start are at 9.30am and 1pm. The O.F.S - Every Wednesday at 12 sharp. 9 hole Sweepstakes - It's on Monday to Friday during January, February and March; re-enter as often as you like, entry is only €2.
