INSIDE RIGHT: Save the fashion shows for the catwalks
AFTER ENJOYING the week-long feast of horse racing that is the Galway Festival, 'Inside Right' feels the need to have a rant about something that really gets under the skin regarding television coverage of the sport of kings - namely fashion. When a big race meeting is on yours truly wants to see man and horse in perfect symmetry moving gracefully around the track, not frocks, feathers and high heels jaunting playfully around the periphery of the course.

THE HORSE racing season, which has just come to a close with the recent Punchestown Festival, has ended on a high for one Co. Wicklow trainer.

TWO BROTHERS teamed up to score a notable win at a point-to-point race meeting at the weekend. At Bennetsbridge on Saturday, John O'Hagan was the jockey that rode to victory on Lasquini du Moulin, a horse owned and trained by his older brother Declan.
