THE ARKLOW Ladies Team earned their place in the Dublin Winter League Semi-Finals in Division 7 with a 2-0 win on Sunday away to Mount Pleasant in Ranalagh.

A SEVENTEEN year old Rathdrum secondary school student will represent his country at the world fly-fishing championships later this year.
O'Hagans on a winner
TWO BROTHERS teamed up to score a notable win at a point-to-point race meeting at the weekend. At Bennetsbridge on Saturday, John O'Hagan was the jockey that rode to victory on Lasquini du Moulin, a horse owned and trained by his older brother Declan.
Wicklow archers on target
2010 WILL be a big year for archery in Wicklow. Six Bray based archers are currently part of the Irish squads being coached by World renowned Italian coach Vittorio Frangilli.
CLUB CALL: NEWTOWN JUNIORS F.C.
FROM OUR four games played last weekend we recorded one win, a draw and two defeats. The under 8's away day hoodoo continued away to Arklow Town in a 1-nil defeat. In a good performance players to shine on the day were Nicola Doyle, Jordan Butler and Ciaran Keogh.

THE GIRLS of St. Mary's Arklow will fly the All Ireland Under 19 C girls basketball semi final takes place in the National Basketball Arena, Tallaght on Thursday March 4.
