In the end as evening fell the rugby pitch looked more like a ploughed field than a sporting arena but to the players and supporters of the Greystoness J1 rugby team it made little difference. Greystones J1's took on Old Wesley in the final of the Leinster Shield on Sunday 29th and when the final whistle sounded it was the Wicklow men who emerged on the right side of the winning margin.
