THE SENIOR men were at home to Wicklow Town In the league and had a comfortable 5-0 win. Scorers for Carnew were Sean Kinsella with a hat trick and Eugene Jordan with a brace. The ladies were at home to New Ross Town and won 5-3. Noreen Lambert scored a hat trick with two brilliant taken free kicks and a penalty in the second Half. Nicole Kavanagh was also on target twice for the home team. The ladies had a brilliant first half team performance and were leading 4-0 at half time, unfortunately the visiting team clawed three goals back but Carnew held on for a well deserved win. The under 12's were away to Wicklow Rovers B in the shield and unfortunately lost 3-1, Enda Donohue was Carnew's scorer on the day. The under 10's were at home to St Anthony's A in the Joseph Blunt Cup and won 2-0. Cillian Gilligan and Lorcan Rossiter were scorers on the day. The under 8's were at home to Greystones C and lost 30.
